Blah blah blah... Hallmark holiday, cheesy, commercial? Yes to all, well maybe. I am not a fan and really between NYE and Valentine's Day, they seem the most hallmark of all holidays. The truth is restaurants, spas, movies and all those places are so busy that it makes it seem so impersonal and I believe romance is becoming a lost art. That being said and if my ramblings have not discouraged you then do your loved one a favor and think a little outside the box. That does not mean spend more money, it means anything that you have heard of such as food, shoes, dessert, a piece of art, even FLOWERS, make sure they are the favorite that maybe through out the year you have heard them speak of. Go bigger then a dozen red roses, try peonies, anemones even a succulent bouquet. Believe me when I say it makes a difference when the one you love has paid attention. Oh and by the way my favorites are anemones and vintage rings, just saying...
